2024 Premier League winner Luke Littler has been installed as the favourite to make a successful defence of his title in 2025.

Littler made a mockery of those suggesting that a Premier League Darts call-up was afforded to him too early in his professional career 12 months ago.
'The Nuke' went on to top the group stage of the competition, finishing four points clear of Luke Humphries, before reigning supreme on Finals Night, seeing off both Michael Smith and Humphries with three-figure averages.
The Warrington star has remarkably further strengthened his credentials since then too, capturing the World Series of Darts Finals title as well as the Grand Slam of Darts crown, before landing the biggest of the lot at Alexandra Palace at the turn of the year.
The World Champion is understandably the favourite to go the full distance in the Premier League once more, but will be wary of a stacked field that also includes serial winners Humphries and Michael van Gerwen.
Like Littler, the pair have also won both the World Darts Championship and Premier League throughout their illustrious careers, with Van Gerwen's catalogue of honours including a stunning seven Premier League crowns.
The Dutchman will be eyed up as the value play for some ahead of this year's darting roadshow, especially given the nature of his run to the final of the 2025 World Darts Championship, where he ultimately came up just short against Littler.
The hugely popular Stephen Bunting and Chris Dobey - both of whom reached the semi-finals of the World Darts Championship - are the two new additions for 2025, and both will be hoping to upstage their long tournament odds, and justify their selections over Michael Smith and Peter Wright.
