Premier League Darts - Night Three Tips

Keith Deller delivers his Best Bets for Night Three of the 2024 Premier League Darts:

Michael van Gerwen 'To Win Night Three' @ 13/5

Last week in Berlin was fabulous and we saw Michael van Gerwen beat Luke Littler in an absolutely brilliant final.

I see Van Gerwen is now starting to get back to his old self and I can see him carrying that form into this one, so I'm backing MVG to win Night Three.

Michael Smith 'Over 3.5 180s' v Rob Cross @ 11/10

Michael Smith won on Night One but he wasn't as good last week, while Rob Cross has been well for the last 12 months. I can see there being at least 10 legs in the match and I'm going for over 9.5 legs at 5/6; I don't think there's much between these two players.

I'm also backing Bully Boy to hit the most maximums and I think a really good bet is Smith to hit over 3.5 180s.

Once he gets that first dart in the top treble 20, you know there's a 180 coming and if we get 10 legs, we should get at least four 180s from Smith.

Michael van Gerwen 'To Win Match & Most 180s' v Peter Wright @ 8/13

Peter Wright is still struggling with his game at the moment and the Premier League is a very tough event over 17 weeks. He's now got Van Gerwen and having won last week, MVG will be very confident playing Wright.

I can see Van Gerwen winning the game and hitting the most 180s. I can also see MVG winning after the first four legs; if he wins the throw, he only has to break Snakebite once and that's priced at 4/6.

It's MVG all the way in this match.

Nathan Aspinall 'Over 94.5 Match Average' v Luke Humphries @ Evens

Nathan Aspinall looked like he was getting back to his old self last week. He played some really good darts and he probably should have beaten Van Gerwen; he had the lead but didn't get over the line. That's just a little bit of confidence but I thought his throw looked really good.

Luke Humphries is struggling a little at the moment but he's the world champion and the world number one; maybe it's just the pressure with both of those under his belt. He didn't do well at the first Players Championship event, losing 6-0. That's not like him.

Humphries is not at the top of his game but I can see over 5.5 180s in the match, maybe three apiece.

Aspinall over 94.5 average is a really good bet. The Asp played really well in the first Pro Tour event, he played well against MVG and you can see that he's starting to get a spark back; I expect him to be around 97 or 98.

Gerwyn Price v Luke Littler '170 Finish in Match' @ 15/2

I'm going for a 170 finish in this match. There's going to be two or three shots at it and Luke Littler is playing superbly at the moment; he's hit a nine-darter, won his first Pro Tour event and lost in the Premier League final last week.

Gerwyn Price is still playing really well himself. He wasn't happy with the conditions at the Pro Tour and walked out, which isn't like him but I still see this being a really close game.

I don't see either of the players running away with this one and it could easily go to an 11th leg.
