The final night of the 2024 Premier League regular season will see Michael van Gerwen lock horns with Rob Cross and 1983 World Darts Champion Keith Deller MBE shares his prediction and tips for Thursday's final quarter-final encounter.
Michael van Gerwen v Rob Cross (20:45)
Michael van Gerwen will be at the O2 Arena in London next Thursday so will be incredibly relaxed and care-free in Sheffield, whilst Rob Cross may not have qualified, but has still been in pretty decent form.
He can maybe count himself unlucky not to have secured top four finish given the way he has consistently performed.
I feel that this will be a good quality affair, both will score well and I expect them to both be pretty sharp on the doubles given that there isn't anything significant riding on the outcome of it.
There's a chance that we go to a final leg shootout, but to give a little bit of breathing room, I would be taking 'Over 9.5' legs in the match, and I also feel that Rob is playing more than well enough to notch a three-dart average of in excess of 96.5.

Michael van Gerwen has already assured himself of a spot at Finals Night next weekend and will toe the oche against Rob Cross in Sheffield as the pre-match 8/13 favourite.
Cross on the other hand, knows his race is run for this year, but will want to end the group campaign on a high, with Voltage priced up at 13/10 to progress to the semi-finals.
