I'm going with a shortish play in my first selection for Thursday's opening quarter-final between Michael Smith and Luke Littler, but it's one that I just cannot see not coming in - six or more 180s for both players combined.

We have all seen how prolific Michael is on the treble 20 bed over the past few years, and Luke is equally as proficient when it comes to power-scoring too, so if we get eight or nine legs in this match, which I feel we will, then I'd be stunned if we didn't see six or more maximums scored.

Again, I'm sticking with the 180 markets for my second pick, Luke Littler to score four or more maximums in the match. Now, this will be a really fast-paced game, both players throw with a good rhythm and it should enable each of them to really finds their groove.

Luke has scored incredibly heavily in his maiden Premier League, and I am expecting that to continue in Rotterdam, which is why I am backing him to finish the match having recorded 'Over 3.5' 180s.

Who do I think will win the match, well, I'd be leaning towards Luke, but Michael has been playing well and I expect his average to be in the high 90s this week, which it is going to need to be if he is to have a chance of winning.

He's fired home three-figure averages on numerous occasions this season, and he is capable of doing that on Thursday - but for me, the 4/5 on offer for a three-dart average in excess of 96.5 is where I feel the value can be found.
