Premier League Darts - Night 13

The race for the play-offs intensifies as the Premier League heads to the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool for Night 13 of the 2024 campaign.

World number one Luke Humphries leads the way but has teenage sensation Luke Littler and the mighty Michael van Gerwen in hot pursuit, while Nathan Aspinall and Michael Smith are embroiled in an intriguing battle themselves as they bid to finish in the top four.

Our man Keith Deller has analysed Thursday night's action, selected his best bets and assembled an 14/1 four-fold accumulator.

Gerwyn Price - Most 180s v Luke Littler

Luke Littler and Gerwyn Price kick off Week 13 of the 2024 Premier League Darts campaign and I can see value in the 180s market for this battle.

I fancy Price to hit more 180s than Littler and it's an enticing price at 6/4. The Iceman has been grouping his darts really well and Littler does switch a lot on the 19s, so I'm taking Price to get more maximums.

Luke Humphries v Nathan Aspinall - Over 9.5 Total Legs

With Nathan Aspinall winning in Rotterdam last week, this matchup has all the ingredients to be a cracker!

I'm going with over 9.5 legs at even money, which I think is a great bet. Luke Humphries is playing really well and Aspinall is full of confidence at the moment.

It could even go the full 11 legs!

Michael van Gerwen - 1 or More 100+ Checkouts v Peter Wright

Peter Wright and Michael van Gerwen meet for only the second time in this Premier League season and though he was defeated by Luke Humphries in Rotterdam, I fancy 'MvG' to get the job done in this one.

I see Van Gerwen hitting at least one ton-plus checkouts; he's playing OK by his standards and yet he's won four nights so far!

I'm afraid Peter Wright has not really been at it in the Premier League. This should help to relax MvG and we all know how clinical he can be when he's performing.

Rob Cross - Over or Exactly 96.5 Average v Michael Smith

Michael Smith takes on Rob Cross in the concluding quarter-final in Liverpool and I'm going with Voltage to win this match.

He's been playing impressively well on the European Tour and beat Luke Humphries at the weekend, so he's playing good darts and I think it's only a matter of time before he comes good in the Premier League.

And if he's going to beat Smith, he's going to need to be averaging at least 98, maybe 99. I'm backing Cross to come good with an average higher than 96.5 at 10/11.

Rob Cross - To Win Night 13 @ 12/1

My winner for Liverpool - and it's not happened so far in this Premier League season - is Rob Cross.

He's been playing well and he's due a win with the form that he's in.

It'll be a slight upset as he's not won a match since reaching the semi-finals in Brighton on Night Six, but I'm backing him to come good in Liverpool.
