Tottenham will look to bounce back from their humiliating defeat to Brentford on the opening weekend of the Premier League season when hosting Charlton in the EFL Cup.
While losing to Brentford is excusable, the performance will raise alarm bells in North London and vast improvement will be expected on Wednesday in the EFL Cup.
Despite a lengthy injury list which sees Pape Sarr, Mohammed Kudus, Xavi Simons, Dejan Kulusevski and Wilson Odobert on the sidelines, Robert De Zerbi should ring the changes on Wednesday, with Destiny Udogie likely to come in at left-back for Andy Robertson.
Micky van de Ven and Pedro Porro's fitness issues mean they're unlikely to be handed starting berths, with Kevin Danso set to step into the heart of defence, replacing Jan Paul van Hecke.
Mateus Fernandes and Rodrigo Bentancur came off the bench on Saturday at the Gtech and should start from the off on Wednesday, with Sandro Tonali and Conor Gallagher making way.
Dominic Solanke will hope to lead the line in place of Richarlison and with Wednesday expected to come too soon for new signing Savio, Mathys Tel and Mikey Moore should retain their places.
