Portsmouth will be looking to build upon their enthralling 3-3 draw with Leeds United on the opening day of the season when they play host to Luton Town at Fratton Park on Saturday.
Pompey - one of the favourites to make an immediate return to League One this term - came within a whisker of stunning the title favourites last time out, before having to settle for a share of the spoils after Brenden Aaronson netted a last-gasp leveller for the hosts.
Luton meanwhile, endured a torturous Championship return after being thumped 4-1 by Burnley on home soil, and boss Rob Edwards will be demanding a response from his troops on the South Coast.
Portsmouth v Luton Town will be shown on Sky Sports+.
Portsmouth v Luton Town is set to kick off at 12:30 (BST) on Saturday 17th August and will be played at Fratton Park in Portsmouth.
Luton Town head south for their first away fixture of the campaign desperately hoping to end their barren run of form away from Kenilworth Road.
The Hatters haven't recorded a solitary success on their travels since a 2-1 FA Cup third round win over Everton back in January, and the omens don't appear to be particularly great this weekend having last won in Portsmouth way back in September 1975.
Since then, Portsmouth have won eight of the nine meetings between the two sides on home soil with the other encounter ending all square.

Jacob Farrell and Jacob Murphy are both set to miss out this weekend as they continue to nurse injuries whilst long-term absentees Regan Poole and Colby Bishop remain sidelined.
However, the likes of Conor Shaughnessy, Marlon Pack, Andre Dozzell and Elias Sorensen should all return to the starting line-up after being rested in the EFL Cup in midweek, whilst Matt Richie could make his debut after re-joining the club in the summer.
Rob Edwards could ring the changes from the starting XI that lined up against Burnley, with defender Tom Holmes in line to feature.
The Hatters are still without the services of Marvelous Nakamba, Reece Burke, Mads Andersen, Jacob Brown and Jordan Clark.
