Port Vale face Tranmere Rovers in their first home game of the 2024/25 League Two season on Saturday afternoon.
The Valiants produced an eye-catching display to win 2-0 away at Salford City last weekend but they bowed of the EFL Cup at Barrow in midweek.
Tranmere's opening game of the season finished goalless at home to Notts County, while a 3-0 victory against Accrington Stanley ensured their progression to the second round of the EFL Cup.
