Despite not making his international debut for France until the age of 25, Olivier Giroud certainly made up for lost time as he became the country's all-time top goalscorer, helped France win the 2018 World Cup and then finish runners-up four years later.
The striker has played for a number of clubs in his 20-year career - including hugely successful spells in the Premier League with Arsenal and Chelsea.
Giroud is still going strong at the age of 38 and returned to France to sign for Lille on 1st July 2025 following a year in the US with Los Angeles FC.
