While the Reds exceeded expectations by clinching the Premier League title in Arne Slot's first season in charge, we could be set to see a rare summer overhaul.
We take a look at a list of players that could depart Liverpool in the summer transfer window.
Position: Goalkeeper
Age: 26
Market Value: €22.00m
Arguably the most certain to depart of the players that make up the list, Liverpool's second choice goalkeeper will likely seek an opportunity to play regular first-team football in the summer transfer window.
Undeniably a fantastic servant for the Reds, Slot's Liverpool get set to introduce Valencia goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili, which would likely demote Caoimhin Kelleher to third choice.
Position: Left-back
Age: 28
Market value: €20m
Liverpool's left-back worries have been glaringly obvious throughout the 2024/25 term.
Andrew Robertson, who has been one of the club's most dependable players since signing from Hull for £8m, has showed signs of slowing down, while Slot seemingly doesn't trust Kostas Tsimikas.
Should one of the two depart to make room for a new addition in that position, the likelihood is that it will be the 'Greek Scouser'.
Position: Central defender
Age: 27
Market value: €25m
Joe Gomez is the longest standing player at the club, joining from Charlton Athletic in 2015.
He has never been one to complain about a lack of game time, but he could be nearing a stage in his career where a starting place is at the forefront of his mind.
A deal to Newcastle was reportedly in the final stages last summer transfer window, and it wouldn't be a surprise if the versatile defender is to attract further interest this time round.
Position: Central defender
Age: 22
Market value: €22m
After an impressive breakthrough in the 2023/24 campaign, Jarrel Quansah hasn't quite had the easiest spell since the arrival of Slot.
Substituted at half-time in the Reds' first Premier League game of the season away at Ipswich, he's failed to regularly break into the starting XI ahead of the formidable Ibrahima Konate and Virgil van Dijk.
It's unlikely that Liverpool see both Gomez and Quansah leave the club, but reports suggest that one of the two could be on their way out.
Position: Attacking midfielder
Age: 22
Market value: €35m
Harvey Elliot's ability is proven by the fact that aged 22, he has already made over 100 appearances for the Reds. That said, he has started just one Premier League game under Slot this term.
Undoubtedly a talent, but if an offer was to land for the attacking midfield, it's thought that the club would be open to it, with Slot's trust in Elliot seemingly lacking.
Wolves are one of the few Premier League sides who reportedly hold an interest in signing Elliot.
Position: Left-winger
Age: 28
Market value: €85m
While Luis Diaz has been one of Liverpool's star performers in the forward line this campaign, he only has two years left on his current deal and the higher-ups have a big decision to make.
The Colombian will most definitely have admirers in the summer, but whether the Reds decide to cash in whilst they can or enter negotiations to tie the winger down to a new deal is yet to be seen.
Position: Striker
Age: 25
Market value: €50m
After three turbulent years for Liverpool, Darwin Nunez looks set to leave the club following the conclusion of the 2024/25 term.
If reports are to be believed, Al Nassr and Liverpool were in advanced negotiations regarding the sale of the Uruguayan in the January transfer window, but the Reds opted to keep the striker with a lack of immediate forward options on the market.
Teams within the Saudi Pro League are expected to return for Nunez, along with European outfits as both AC Milan and Atletico Madrid have been mooted as potential destinations.
Position: Striker
Age: 28
Market value: €45m
A forward rebuild could well be on the cards for Liverpool in the summer, with Diogo Jota amongst those who could be set to depart.
While his injury record has been a consistent worry since signing from Wolves, it's only really been this past season where it's evidently taken its toll.
Whether it's a move to a fellow Premier League side or a new challenge elsewhere, there's a concrete possibility that the forward won't be representing the Reds next season.
Position: Right-winger
Age: 19
Market value: €14m
While it seems harsh including Ben Doak in this list given he's hardly been given a chance to impress for the Reds, Liverpool may sense an opportunity to make a profit on the Scotsman given his impressive loan spell for Championship outfit Middlesbrough.
With that said, a stay in Merseyside is by no means beyond the realms of possibility, and he will likely be given the chance to make his mark in pre-season.
