The summer transfer window is in full swing and plenty of incomings and outgoings are in the pipeline for reigning Premier League champions Manchester City.

With some big deals having already gone through in the early knockings of the window, further huge transfer activity is set to be completed over the coming days that could have an impact on several clubs down the line.

All happening at the Etihad Stadium

Pep Guardiola is showing no signs of slowing down when it comes to improving his squad and it's claimed the Citizens are now leading the race for the signature of West Ham skipper Declan Rice.

Arsenal were believed to be in the box-seat to sign the midfielder, but they have been rebuffed on a couple of occasions after failing to meet the Hammers' demands and City are now 8/11 favourites to sign him.

It is rumoured Rice is keen on a switch to the blue side of Manchester in a move that could spell the end of Kalvin Phillips' short stint with the club, having only joined from Leeds in July 2022.

Bayern Munich are claimed to be interested in the England international and are preparing to make a bid, having initially missed out on one of their top targets Rice due to the high valuation.

Phillips could be joined in Bavaria by City teammate Kyle Walker, who is said to be in advanced negotiations over a switch to the Bundesliga champions and is 13/8 to make the move in the Transfer Specials market.

Another player expected to leave the Etihad is Bernardo Silva, with reports claiming he has already agreed a three-year contract at Barcelona and his free transfer should be officially confirmed when his current deal expires at the end of June.

Frustration for Red Devils

While City appear to be making good strides in the market, rivals Manchester United continue to be frustrated in their efforts to sign Mason Mount after being knocked back three times by Chelsea.

The latest bid, believed to be around £55million, is said to be not far away from what the Blues would be willing to allow the Englishman to leave for.

Chelsea are claimed to have made a counter-proposal of £58m plus £7m in add-ons and have offered to meet United officials in person to try and thrash out a deal.

Kante heads to Saudi Arabia

N'Golo Kante's time in the Premier League has come to an end following the news he has agreed to join Saudi Arabian champions Al-Ittihad when his contract expires at the end of June.

Having won the Premier League with Leicester City, the midfielder was then signed by Chelsea and he went on to lift the top-flight trophy again, the Champions League, Europa League and FA Cup.

Kante will link up with former Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema, who recently ended his time at the Santiago Bernabeu to sign a three-year deal with Al-Ittihad.

Magpies splash the cash

Newcastle have been looking to strengthen ahead of their return to the Champions League and it appears they are closing in on the signing of AC Milan midfielder Sandro Tonali.

The Magpies are claimed to have an agreement for 70million euros with add-ons and have tied the Italy international down until the summer of 2029.

Eddie Howe is also said to be in the market for a new left-back, with Chelsea's Marc Cucurella being linked in a £30m switch, while the north-east outfit are still in the running for Leicester's James Maddison.

The Foxes are said to be asking for a minimum of £50m to allow the England international to leave the King Power Stadium, with Tottenham also still holding a keen interest.

Maddison is 6/5 to make the switch to St James' Park and 10/11 to join Tottenham.

Iraola makes first move

Bournemouth made the surprise decision to replace manager Gary O'Neil with Andoni Iraola and the new man in charge has landed his first summer signing.

The Cherries have snapped up Justin Kluivert from Roma in a deal reportedly worth around £9.5m, with the Dutchman penning a long-term contract.

Lazio join Zaha race

Wilfried Zaha will become a free agent at the end of June and it looks unlikely he will be signing an extension at Crystal Palace, who are 11/2 to keep hold of the forward.

The Ivory Coast international has been attracting interest from Paris Saint-Germain, who are 11/10 to sign him, while it is 9/2 he joins any Saudi Arabian team.

It is now said that Lazio have approached Zaha and entered negotiations. It is 7/2 he joins the Italian side.
