The scene is set for the 2025 NFL Championship and the Philadelphia Eagles are looking to put their 2023 heartbreak behind them and get their hands on the Vince Lombardi Trophy.
Nick Sirianni's side are of course not only gunning for revenge against the Chiefs, but aiming to stop them completing a historic three-peat in the process.
To win a first NFL Championship since 2018, they must conquer the avenge their 38-35 defeat from two years ago, when they led 24-14 at half-time.
We take a look at the Eagles' journey to the showpiece in New Orleans.
Record: 14-3
Position: 1st in NFC East
Points scored: 463
Points against: 303
After finishing second in the NFC East in 2023, losing the divisional title to the Dallas Cowboys, the Eagles made the most significant signing of the off-season, picking up free agent Saquon Barkley.
The second pick of the 2018 draft revolutionised the Eagles' offense, becoming the ninth player in NFL history to clear 2,000 rushing yards in a season with the Eagles reclaiming the NFC East crown.
Philadelphia Eagles 22-10 Green Bay Packers
Despite finishing third in the NFC North, the Green Bay Packers sneaked into the play-offs with an 11-6 record, and although they lost six matches over the course of the campaign, the first five came to top-quality opposition in the Minnesota Vikings - both by two points - and the Detroit Lions after the opening defeat in Brazil to the Eagles.
It was far from a vintage Eagles performance, with an error-strewn Packers allowing four takeaways with Jordan Love throwing three interceptions.
Barkley would still post 119 rushing yards to help get the Eagles over the line, but much improvement was needed...
Philadelphia Eagles 28-22 Los Angeles Rams
In some classic Philadelphia winter weather, the Eagles turned to Barkley once more. Opting to minimise the passing game in snowy conditions, the Eagles threw for a measly net 65 yards, with Jalen Hurts actually rushing for 70 yards.
Hurts scored the first touchdown of the game, rushing for 44 yards with Barkley getting into the end zone after a 62-yard rush to give the Eagles a 13-7 first-quarter lead.
The Rams weren't able to make enough of their five trips to the red zone, and despite getting to within a score in the final quarter, Barkley broke through once again to run in a 78-yard touchdown and seal a place in the NFC Championship.
Philadelphia Eagles 55-23 Washington Commanders
An elite rushing offense versus a weak rushing defense always had the potential to lead to a blow-out win and so it proved. Jalen Hurts threw a touchdown for 246 yards, but the Eagles did most of their damage on the ground.
On their very first play, Barkley ran 60 yards for a touchdown, running home a second touchdown in the first quarter. The Eagles led 48-23 after Barkley's third touchdown of the game, with Will Shipley brought in to give Barkley a well earned rest.
Shipley picked up where Barkley left off, racking up 77 yards and a touchdown in just four plays with the Eagles booking their NFL Championship place as 55-23 winners.
