The PGA TOUR's third Signature Event of the year will see the world's top players tee it up at the Riviera Country Club for the Genesis Invitational.
The tournament was first held in 1926 and has been contested every year since 1944 under various guises and is now best known as the Genesis Invitational.
It's notable for being the first professional tournament of Tiger Woods in 1996, when the future major winner made a hole-in-one.
The tournament is a designated Signature Event for the 2024 season and will attract a stellar field. The tournament will be without its defending champion, however, following Jon Rahm's defection to LIV Golf.

Yes, Tiger Woods announced on his Twitter feed that he'd be a playing host at Riviera Country Club for the Genesis Invitational.
The Genesis was one of three events Woods appeared in in 2023. He also appeared at Riviera in 2018, 2019 and 2020.

Lanny Wadkins shot a -20 264 to win the 1985 Genesis Invitational, then known as the Los Angeles Open. The course record in tournament play is 61, shot by Ted Tryba in 1999.
Scotland's Macdonald Smith won the event four times between 1928 and 1934, as did Lloyd Mangrum between 1949 and 1956. Ben Hogan won the event three times between 1942 and 1948, as did Arnold Palmer between 1964 and 1967.
In the modern era, Bubba Watson holds the most wins, with three between 2014 and 2018.
