PGA Championship Odds: Scottie Scheffler favourite

After his remarkable PLAYERS Championship win, Scottie Scheffler is the 6/1 favourite for the 2024 PGA Championship.

While the US Open tends to be on tight courses, where accuracy is paramount, the PGA Championship has tended to favour longer golfers and the 2024 edition at Valhalla should be no exception.

The last two PGA Championships at the Kentucky course have been won by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy, and now that his putting woes seem to be behind him, there isn't a weakness in Scheffler's game.

Considering the level he's been playing at for around two years now, it's hard to believe Scheffler only has one major to his name, but that feels likely to change this year, with the Texan 6/5 to win one of the big four this season.

Two-time champion Justin Thomas will relish the challenge in front of his home fans, with the Louisville man 25/1 to lift a third Wanamaker trophy.

It's now 10 years since McIlroy's last major - though that was his win at Valhalla in the dark - and the 10/1 shot will be popular with fans and punters alike.
