Paris Saint-Germain v Inter Milan: Combined XI

Ahead of the 2025 UEFA Champions League final in Munich, we have pieced together a combined Paris Saint-Germain and Inter XI featuring a number of Europe's top stars.

GK: Gianluigi Donnarumma (PSG)

Maybe the toughest decision across the entire XI.

Both Gianluigi Donnarumma and Yann Sommer are world class keepers but I'm just siding with the Italian.

Whilst he can be prone to mistakes, Donnarumma is a man mountain between the sticks.

He made countless crucial stops across both semi-final legs against Arsenal and he has proven in the past that should the final come down to penalties, there is no goalie on the planet you'd rather have than him.

RB: Achraf Hakimi

Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi has been amongst the best full-backs on the globe for some time now.

Again, it was a hard choice between himself and Denzel Dumfries but the four at the back system might suit the PSG player that little bit better.

Going forward, Hakimi dominates in practically every metric in relation to his peers, sitting in the 99th percentile for touches in the opposition penalty area and shot-creating actions.

CB: Marquinhos

PSG's captain and one of the only surviving players pre to post Kylian Mbappe at the club.

Marquinhos has been crucial to a lot of success enjoyed in Paris over the years and has 10 Ligue 1 titles to his name.

His ability on the ball coupled with his relative speed for a defender makes him a pivotal to the way that PSG try to play.

CB: Alessandro Bastoni

Since his breakthrough season at Inter in 2019/10, Alessandro Bastoni has proven himself to be one of, if not the, best centre back in world football.

His left-footedness makes him an extremely sought-after talent and he has the physicality to go along with his on the ball skills.

Bastoni has been the key feature of one of Europe's elite defensive units which more than justifies his place here.

LB: Federico Dimarco

Quite like Denzel Dumfires, Federico Dimarco might be better suited to a wing-back role but he is very hard to leave out here.

The 27-year-old possesses an incredible left foot and has finished with at least 12 goal contributions in each of his last three seasons.

DM: Vitinha

Even with Ousmane Dembele's incredible season, I'd be willing to argue that Vitinha is PSG's most important player.

There was a time in his career where it seemed as if his progression had stalled but now - playing for one of Europe's best sides - everything goes through him.

His rise to prominence has been staggering and after only making his Portugal debut in 2022 he is surely one of their key players.

CM: Joao Neves

Fans of Fabian Ruiz may want to look away now.

As brilliant as the Spaniard is, I find it impossible to leave Joao Neves out of this team.

At just 20 years old he has proven himself to be a truly elite midfielder with an abundance of talent in both forward and defensive areas.

CM: Nicolo Barella

You'd have to be a pretty good player to get anywhere near the current Paris Saint-Germain midfield but Nicolo Barella is exceptional.

Possessing the ability to break up play as well, retain possession and score goals, Barella is everything you would want in a modern midfielder.

RW: Ousmane Dembele

The talent has been evident throughout but injuries have been the defining factor in Ousmane Dembele's career... until now.

2025/25 has seen the forward explode into life, scoring 29 goals and assisting a further 10.

He is the current Ballon d'Or favourite and should lift the UEFA Champions League at the end of the month his claims will become all the more solid.

ST: Lautaro Martinez

Not just prolific in front of goal, Martinez embodies everything that a modern forward should be.

He seems to make everyone he plays with that bit better and has not looked back ever since he was entrusted with the captaincy.

Now Inter Milan's all-time leading foreign goalscorer in Europe, his importance can not be understated.

LW: Kvicha Kvaratskhelia

PSG paid a handsome sum to bring Kvicha Kvaratskhelia to the Parc de Princes, but you can see why.

His insane dribbling ability makes him one of the most exciting players to watch worldwide, but he also pairs this with goals and assists.

Kvaratskhelia grabbed the assist for Ousmane Dembele's crucial finish in the UEFA Champions League semi-final first-leg.
