Pimblett quickly rose to prominence after moving to the UFC in September 2021, and the Liverpudlian has won all seven of his fights in the Octagon, most recently against Chandler.
The 30-year-old outclassed his latest opponent and his victory in Miami has moved him into the top 10 of the lightweight rankings.
Ahead of his latest encounter, Pimblett suggested he would like one more fight in 2025 before getting a title shot in 2026.
Charles Oliveira is the fighter Pimblett has suggested he wants to fight the most.
The Brazilian has achieved more submission victories than any other fighter in history and would be seen as a huge scalp if Pimblett can get the better of him.
The suggestion is Dustin Poirier's next fight would be his retirment bout, so a date with Pimblett would represent a huge step in elevating the Liverpudlian's career.
Alongside Poirier and Oliveria, Pimblett has previously described Gaethje as one of the "legends" in the division he wants to test himself against during his career.
There have been clashes between Ilia Topuria and Pimblett in the past and it seems as though the stars could be aligning for those that want to see the pair in the Octagon.
Arman Tsarukyan was another fighter mentioned by Pimblett after his most recent victory and the Armenian wolud be a daunting prospect considering he currently tops the lightweight rankings.
