Oxford ended a 25-year absence from the second tier of English football by beating Bolton Wanderers 2-0 in last season's League One play-off final.

One of the stars of last season was Cameron Brannagan and we have priced up the midfielder at 8/1 to score the first goal on Saturday, after he penned a new deal to extend his stay at the Kassam Stadium.

Matt Phillips has arrived from West Brom with experience of Premier League and Championship football, while fellow winger Malcolm Ebiowei has also joined on loan from Crystal Palace. But playoff-final hero Josh Murphy has departed the club after rejecting a new deal to join Portsmouth.

Des Buckingham's side will be hoping to shake off the tag of pre-season relegation favourites by starting the new campaign well, but standing in their way are a Norwich City side now managed by young Danish manager Johannes Hoff Thorup.

The Canaries, who reached the play-offs last season before losing to Leeds United, are 5/4 to record an opening day victory, while the draw is available at 13/5.

We are 17/20 for there to be over 2.5 goals on Saturday afternoon, with both teams to score available at 8/11.
