In-form Nottingham Forest can make it three wins on the spin when they entertain unpredictable West Ham United in the Premier League on Saturday.
Nottingham Forest to win - 23/20
Nottingham Forest have exceeded expectations in the Premier League so far this season and they can again catch the eye by picking up another victory against inconsistent West Ham this weekend.
Forest are up to seventh in the top flight with four wins, four draws and just one defeat from their first nine matches and they can follow up recent successes over Crystal Palace and Leicester City by getting the better of the Hammers at the City Ground.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side were tipped to be among the relegation candidates this term but they are instead dreaming of competing for the European places after a fine run of form.
Forest have been particularly impressive away from home, beating Southampton, Liverpool and, most recently, the Foxes, but they edged out Palace 1-0 in their last City Ground outing and will be full of confidence for the visit of the Hammers.
Julen Lopetegui’s side did secure a much-needed home win themselves over Manchester United last weekend but that only came thanks to a controversial late penalty.
The Hammers have won just once on the road all season and were well beaten by Tottenham in their last away trip earlier this month, going down 4-1, so they could be in for an uncomfortable afternoon in the East Midlands.
Chris Wood to score anytime - 2/1
Chris Wood is in the form of his life for Forest with the New Zealand international firing in seven league goals to sit joint-third in the goalscorer rankings with only Erling Haaland and Bryan Mbeumo above him.
The centre-forward is thriving under Nuno and will be aiming to find the back of the net for the fourth consecutive game after notching one goal against both Chelsea and Palace and then two in the 3-1 win over Leicester.
The 32-year-old could have had even more goals in recent weeks as he has had seven shots, of which four have been on target, in his last two appearances for Forest.
Wood is clearly enjoying being the spearhead of the Forest attack and it would be no surprise to see him adding to his tally against a Hammers side that has only kept one clean sheet all season.
Lucas Paqueta to be booked - 5/4
Lucas Paqueta has been booked three times for the Hammers this season, with two of those yellow cards coming in his last two matches.
The Brazil international looks to be a prime candidate for a booking against Forest as well if he continues to show a lack of discipline at key times in games.
Paqueta has given away the most fouls in the West Ham squad in league games this term, conceding 15 free-kicks, which is three more than anyone else, and he could be in trouble with the referee again as he and his team-mates struggle to contain a well-drilled Forest side.
