Introducing Omar Marmoush, Manchester City's latest prize capture who garnered the attention of Europe's biggest clubs at Eintracht Frankfurt.
A phenomenal return of 15 goals from 17 league appearances saw Marmoush narrowly trail Harry Kane at the top of the Bundesliga goalscoring charts and the Egyptian forward supplemented his goal tally with 13 assists in all competitions.
Marmoush's explosive campaign in Germany was of a stark contrast to the slow and steady ascent he's pursued to reach Europe's elite; he did not make his Bundesliga bow until three years after his switch to Wolfsburg.
Enjoying his most productive season to date last term with 17 goals and six assists for Dino Toppmöller's outfit in all competitions, Marmoush had elevated his game to sensational heights and evolved as a multi-faceted threat in Eintracht's attack.
There is more to Marmoush than just his ability to find the back of the net. The former Wolfsburg ace was revered on the terraces of the Waldstadion for his nimble and unpredictable footwork, selflessness and progressive style.
We assess what Marmoush will bring to Pep Guardiola's outfit.
Omar Marmoush is 25 years old and was born on 7th February 1999 in Cairo, Egypt.
Marmoush is also a Canadian citizen after his parents worked in Canada for six years.
Standing at 6ft tall with a lean build, Marmoush possesses explosive pace and is unsuspectingly strong, flaunting the ability to shrug off the strongest central defenders.
Marmoush is predominantly right-footed, though he's demonstrated throughout his career that he's more than capable at finishing with his left.
Positionally flexible, Marmoush operated in a variety of roles for Frankfurt and yet none inhibited his ability to perform.
Primarily a central forward partnering Hugo Ekitike, Marmoush has been deployed as a left winger and attacking midfielder in a 3-4-2-1 formation.
Possessing sharp acceleration and intricate control he is able to evade challenges with ease. Marmoush's ingenuity and endeavour means he relishes engaging in one-on-one situations with defenders, with the forward frequently looking to beat his man if the opportunity presents itself.
Frankfurt tactician Topmoller also encouraged him to play off the shoulder of the last defender, enabling him to break defensive lines and provide the team with a threat in behind.
Both of these elements were visible in Frankfurt's thrilling 3-3 draw with Bayern Munich, in which Marmoush scored two and assisted one.
His raw speed proved uncontainable for Bayern's defence and Marmoush is measured in the final third, dispatching two chances with aplomb and providing a perfectly-weighted pass for Ekitike to score after escaping the presence of Dayot Upamecano.
Marmoush varies between finisher and architect. When Frankfurt score, it's verging on a guarantee that Marmoush is involved.

Marmoush is a player who’s only going to improve with time. What he did for Ekitiké’s goal is not something you see often. To push past Upamecano with that kind of strength - no one has done that all season.
