Team GB's Bradly Sinden is 2/1 to win gold in the men's 68kg taekwondo at the Paris Olympics.
The second seed is on the opposite side of the draw to Evs favourite Ulugbek Rashitov of Uzbekistan, meaning they can't meet until the final.
Sinden was a silver medallist at the 2022 World Taekwondo Championships, when Rashitov was eliminated in the round of 16 before going on to win gold at the European Championships later that year, to add to his World Championship gold medal from 2019.
Sinden will be out to avenge his defeat in the final of the 2020 Tokyo Games when losing to Rashitov 34-29 in the final.
The Yorkshireman will face Kevin Kassman in the round of 16, before facing either Marko Golubic or Bernardo Pie in the quarter-finals.
Should he get that far, Sinden would likely face Turkey's Hakan Recber, who won gold at the 2023 World Championships (albeit at 63kg), and was a bronze medallist in Tokyo four years ago.
Sinden gets his Olympic campaign underway at 9:59 on Thursday morning, competing throughout the afternoon, with the final scheduled for 20:19.
