The heptathlon consists of female athletes competing to outscore one another in seven different track-and-field events across two days of action.

The heptathlon at the Olympics commences on Thursday 8th August and runs until Friday 9th August.

  • High Jump
  • Shot Put
  • 200m
  • Long Jump
  • Javelin Throw
  • 800m
