The heats for the men’s 100m breaststroke will start at 10:30 BST on Saturday 27th July at the Olympic Aquatic Centre in Saint-Denis

Two swimmers dominate the market for the 100m men’s breaststroke at these Olympics - two-time gold medallist Adam Peaty from Great Britain and challenger Haiyang Qin from China.
Peaty, who won gold in both Rio and Tokyo, holds the world record at 56.88, which he set in July 2019.
He has held the world’s best time since 2015, won by more than half a second in Japan three years ago and was unbeaten in the event from 2014 to 2022.
Qin holds the world record at 200m and has a best time at the distance of 57.69, which he set in last year’s world championships, also held in Japan.
American Nic Fink, third in the betting, has a personal best of 58.36, which he set in the US international trials last year.
