Hailing from Bodelwyddan, Wales, 31-year-old Jones became Britain's first ever taekwondo Olympic gold medallist in the 2012 home Games in London.
Jones was then able to retain her Olympic title in the 57kg weight category in Rio in 2016, but was denied a hat-trick of gold medals after suffering a shock first round exit in Tokyo at the 2020 Games.
Nicknamed the 'Head Hunter' in homage to her penchant for landing kicks to the head, Jones returns to the Olympic stage in Paris as one of the main contenders for gold.
She faces four fights to become the sport's first three-time Olympic champion in Paris.
