Team GB star Matthew Hudson-Smith is the heavy favourite to capture gold in the men's 400m final on Wednesday evening as the spotlight gets set to fall back upon the Stade de France.
The men's 400m final will be broadcast on the BBC, BBC iPlayer, Eurosport and Discovery Plus.
The men's 400m final is scheduled to begin at 20:20 (BST) on Wednesday 7th August 2024.
British gold medal hope Matthew Hudson-Smith eased to victory in his semi-final success with a time of 44.07 seconds, and appears the man to beat in Wednesday's final.
That said, American star Quincy Hall is also expected to secure a podium finish, and has proven he has the pace and composure to capture Olympic gold himself, whilst 400m veteran Kirani James cannot be written off as he bids to make history in Paris.
The Grenadian has captured Olympic medals in the men's 400m in each of the last three staging's of the games, and heads into the Paris final on the back of setting the fastest qualifying time of 43.78 seconds in Tuesday's semi-final.
The London 2012 gold medallist claimed silver at Rio 2016 before completing his collection with a bronze in Tokyo three years ago.
