Stade de France is set to host a blockbuster evening of athletics with Kishane Thompson favourite to take the title of fastest man in the world and claim gold in the men's 100m.
The men’s 100m will be broadcast on the BBC, BBC iPlayer, Eurosport and Discovery Plus.
The men's 100m semi-finals will take place from 18:05 BST, with the final scheduled for 20:50 BST on Sunday 4th August.
Noah Lyles is aiming to become the first man to hold both the 100m and 200m Olympic titles since the legendary Usain Bolt in 2016.
Defending champion Marcell Jacobs will look to match Bolt and Carl Lewis in becoming the only men to have won multiple gold medals in the event.
The Olympic record for the 100m is 9.63s, which was set by Bolt in London 2012.
Kishane Thompson set the fastest time of 2024 with a 9.77 in the Olympic trials in Kingston.
