Oleksandr Usyk is firmly expected to make relatively light work of kickboxing king Rico Verhoeven when the pair collide in Egypt in a bizarre crossover contest this weekend.
The Ukrainian has been granted special dispensation from the WBC to put his world title on the line against the Dutchman who boasts a paltry 1-0 professional boxing record.
Despite his sparse boxing resume however, Verhoeven, who stands at 6'5", heads into the fight boasting legendary combat sport pedigree.
Few in the sport are offering Verhoeven, who has dominated the kickboxing scene, too much chance of producing what would undoubtedly be one of the greatest upsets in boxing history, but he will take heart from the fact that MMA great Francis Ngannou ran Tyson Fury so close a couple of years ago.
For those unfamiliar with Verhoeven and his fighting traits, he's an efficient and, at times, hard-hitting puncher who uses his vast reach to his advantage, but he won't ever have stepped foot inside a boxing ring with anybody near the calibre of Usyk.
Despite entering the twilight years of his career, the two-time undisputed blue-riband division ruler hasn't shown any signs whatsoever of deterioration; in fact, if anything, he looked better than ever when he emphatically stopped Daniel Dubois for a second time in his last outing.
Whilst he may have to overcome one or two tricky moments this weekend, surely the 39-year-old will prove to have far too much in his locker for his rookie opponent.
That said, as the old saying goes in the heavyweight division, "it only takes one punch"...
