Over 50,000 fans are expected to be in attendance at Wembley Stadium on Sunday afternoon as Oldham Athletic and Southend United both aim to seal a return to the EFL.
With over 21,000 Latics fans and over 29,000 Shrimpers fans expected to watch the National League play-off final, the crowd is set to break the current record of 47,029 at the 2015 game between Bristol Rovers and Grimsby Town.
It has been a rollercoaster few years for both sides and while Oldham were an original member of the Premier League in 1992-93, Southend were also established at a much higher level until recent times.
Both sides are therefore desperate to end their absences from the Football League and have endured very different paths through to the play-offs to date.
While the Latics upset the form book and claimed a superb and comfortable 3-0 victory at a powerful York City side, Kevin Maher's side came out on top in a seven-goal thriller at Rochdale before beating Forest Green Rovers on penalties.
