One of the first questions put to golfers making the switch to LIV Golf was how they'd compete in majors, unable to earn ranking points on the new tour.
A handful of golfers - Brooks Koepka, Bryson DeChambeau, Phil Mickelson etc. - already had exemptions on account of recent major wins, but many of the tour have been forced to enter qualifying for the majors that use a qualifying system or rely on special invites.
Nevertheless, LIV has maintained a strong presence at the majors, with Koepka winning the 2023 PGA Championship and DeChambeau winning the 2024 US Open.
Across 2024's majors, a LIV golfer finished in the top 10 of each, with DeChambeau finishing T7 at the Masters, second at the PGA Championship and winning the US Open, while finished Rahm T7 at The Open.
Between DeChambeau, Rahm and Koepka, LIV will be well represented at the majors in 2025, with the likes of Tyrrell Hatton, Cameron Smith and Joaquin Niemann all potential contenders, and it's 50/1 that LIV golfers take all four majors.
