Manly Sea Eagles have been hit by the news star fullback Tom Trbojevic is facing a month on the sidelines with a knee injury.
The Sea Eagles are priced at 13/1 to win the 2022 NRL grand final and the loss of Trbojevic is a huge blow as they look to start the season strongly.
The Sea Eagles have recovered from losing their opening two games of the season to win the last two and were hoping to kick on from there.
They still can but the loss of Trbojevic is a big setback as he is a game-changer and will be sorely missed in Des Hasler’s side.

Manly issued a statement on their club website and will be hoping for a speedy recovery from the injury he sustained against the Raiders on Saturday.
“Manly Warringah Sea Eagles fullback Tom Trbojevic underwent scans today for a knee injury following Saturday’s match in Mudgee,” the statement read.
“Scans have revealed that Trbojevic has suffered a medial tear and will now undergo surgery. He will be out for a period of four weeks.”
Manly are in action against Newcastle on Sunday and could also be without the influential Cody Walker who is nursing a knee injury.
Brad Parker is also sick and could miss out against the Knights so Hasler has one or two selection issues.
Manly sit in 10th spot on the NRL ladder but are one of eight teams sat on four points after just two games of the season.
