Nottingham Forest and Aston Villa have been linked with a move for San Lorenzo goalkeeper Orlando Gill this summer.
Gill was part of Paraguay's squad for the 2026 World Cup prior to their recent elimination.
The 26-year-old featured in all five matches as Paraguay reached the Last 16 before they suffered a 1-0 defeat to France.
After keeping clean sheets against Turkey and Australia during the group stage, Gill was in goal as Paraguay knocked out Germany on penalties in the first knockout round.
His performances have caught the eye of numerous clubs throughout Europe and bids are believed to be imminent.
On The Minute have reported that Forest and Villa are currently monitoring the player's situation.
Gill plays his club football for San Lorenzo in the Argentinian top-flight.
He has made 59 appearances for the club after arriving from his home country in 2023.
The 6ft 6ins goalkeeper possesses excellent shot-stopping ability and is an imposing figure when it comes to commanding his penalty area.
Forest currently have Matz Sels and John Victor as their options between the sticks and Gill would arrive to compete for the number one jersey.
Meanwhile, Emiliano Martinez is still the man with the gloves for Aston Villa and Gill could be viewed as a long-term successor to the Argentine World Cup winner.
