Norwich City's injury woes have been exacerbated following news that star forward Mohammed Touré is set for an extended spell on the sidelines.
The Australia international was forced off inside the opening 15 minutes of Norwich's 4-3 defeat to Bolton Wanderers following a collision with Ben Davies.
Injury to Touré also coincided with setbacks for captain Kenny McLean and left-back Ben Chrisene, with the former suffering an ankle issue in the loss to Bolton at Carrow Road, while the latter also sustained a heavy blow to his shoulder.
Joining the Canaries from Danish side Randers in February, Touré has been one of the bright sparks in the Championship for Norwich despite an underwhelming start to the campaign for Philippe Clement's side.
The 22-year-old, who featured for Australia at the 2026 World Cup, scored a brace against Burnley before adding to his account in the 3-1 victory over Sheffield United at Bramall Lane. Touré missed the win at home to Birmingham, but scored in both of the 4-3 defeats to Middlesbrough and Bolton.
Touré's goal record stands at 16 in 21 appearances for Norwich with a further four assists, demonstrating his important to Clement's outfit.
We've taken a look at how long Touré could be out for.
Norwich boss Clement revealed Touré faces several months out of action with the forward to undergo shoulder surgery.
"That is a bad one," Clement told The Pink 'Un.
"You cannot prevent those. It is part of football and of course I live with those players and they have been working hard to focus on having a big season and being on the pitch."
Depending on the type of procedure Touré will undergo and the severity of the injury, the forward could be out of action from anywhere between three to nine months.
Most players that undergo shoulder surgery are sidelined for four to five months, meaning Touré may not return until February at the earliest.
