Inter Milan legend Javier Zanetti holds the record for the most Serie A appearances for a non-Italian player.
Zanetti made a total of 618 Serie A appearances during his 19 years at the San Siro.
Whilst he tops the list for non-Italian players, only Gianluigi Buffon and Paolo Maldini are ahead of him in the all-time list.
Slovenian goalkeeper Samir Handanovic is just behind Zanetti on the list of non-Italian players with the most Serie A appearances.
Forward Goran Pandev is third on the list after making 493 appearances in the competition, while Sebastian Frey and Piotr Zielinski complete the top five.
There is also a place in the top ten for the likes of Marek Hamsik, Clarence Seedorf and David Pizarro.
