Wellington Phoenix have moved into the top six of the A-League following a dramatic 3-2 win over the Newcastle Jets on Wednesday night.
The Nix are now priced at 4/9 to stay there and play finals football this season and the return to form of striker David Ball is helping their cause.
With the game on a knife edge at 2-2 heading into the dying minutes of the game, Ball latched on to a cross from Sam Sutton to head home the winner.
The win extended Wellington's unbeaten run to seven games and Ball says they were delighted to gain some revenge on the Jets after losing 4-0 to them earlier in the season.

"I just play a game of high energy, I've got to set an example to everyone," he told reporters after the game.
"That's the minimum that you do when you walk on the pitch. I'm starting to get my goals and assists now I probably warrant and I'm just happy to chip in. We obviously owed them one from the 4-0 at the start of the season."
Newcastle can feel hard done by as they had Wellington on the back foot for large periods of the game and it took some fine saves from Oli Sail to keep them out.
But the Nix had a game plan to counterattack and it worked.
"We did a good job, the manager sets us up certain ways to play certain teams and I think we did a good job on them today," Ball added. "On the counter attack, I think we're as good as anyone.
"We've got players that are coming into the side today, Waineo's not played for a while and then come in and scored a goal. Everyone's doing their part and that's what's so good about this team."
