2024/25 NHL Odds: Edmonton Oilers favourites to lift Stanley Cup

Having made their first Stanley Cup final in 18 years last season, the Edmonton Oilers will bid to go one better this time around.

All five of the Oilers' Stanley Cup wins came in the Wayne Gretzky era, winning five times between 1984 and 1990, though they've only made two finals since.

The New Jersey Devils will look to put a disappointing 2023/24 campaign behind them where they failed to make the play-offs.

Though they have just one play-off win to their name since their 2012 Stanley Cup Finals defeat (4-3 v New York Rangers in 2023), the Devils are second favourites in the betting, with defending champions Florida Panthers third favourites alongside the Dallas Stars, who lost in the Western Conference final to the Oilers.
