After losing their opening games of the 2024 NFL season, the New York Giants and Washington Commanders will look to bounce back in their NFC East encounter on Sunday.
The Giants were outclassed by the Minnesota Vikings 28-6 at home, while the Commanders fell to a 37-20 defeat to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Both teams finished with losing records last season and will be desperate to claim the early bragging rights in this long-standing rivalry.

Anthony Johnson JR., Tre Hawkins, Boogie Basham, Jake Kubas and Tommy DeVito were all inactive for the defeat to Minnesota.
Since that defeat, the Giants have signed wide receiver Ihmir Smith-Marsette, while Carter Coughlin was added to the practice squad/injured list due to a pectoral problem.
Dan Quinn decided to list Sam Hartman, Darrick Forrest, Dominique Hampton, Chris Paul, Noah Brown and Jer'Zhan Newton as inactive for the defeat to the Buccaneers.
The Commanders have yet to confirm if any of their active roster suffered injuries in Week 1.
