After back-to-back defeats, the Minnesota Vikings will look to return to winning ways when they host the Indianapolis Colts at the U.S. Bank Stadium.
The Vikings won their first five games in the 2024 campaign before heading for their Bye in Week 6. Since then, they have lost 31-29 to the Detroit Lions and 30-20 to the Los Angeles Rams.
Even though they are 5-2 for the season, the Vikings are now third in the NFC North, trailing the Green Bay Packers and the Lions.
The Colts are second in the AFC South with a 4-4 record and another win will put them in contention for a play-off spot this season.
Joe Flacco Over 1.5 Passing Touchdowns - 6/4
The Colts made Anthony Richardson their franchise quarterback for the future in 2023, but he has since only played 10 games for them.
Richardson was ruled out for the majority of last season due to a shoulder injury, while his form since returning this year has been poor.
Richardson did not help the matter by subbing himself out of the 23-20 defeat to the Houston Texans due to tiredness, but the Colts have a more than capable back-up raring to go.
Veteran Flacco, a former NFL Championship winner, has had to play three times this season due to Richardson's fitness woes.
In each of those appearances, Flacco threw for over 160 yards and at least two touchdowns.
Flacco has thrown seven touchdowns and one interception so far this season and with a fully fit receiver room at his disposal, he should be able to produce similar heroics.
The Vikings concede 263 passing yards per game on defence, the third-worst in the NFL.
Josh Downs Over 5.5 Receptions - 1/1
As an experienced QB, Flacco is used to keeping things simple to try and help the Colts succeed.
The former Baltimore Ravens quarterback has brought the best out of Downs and Michael Pittman Jr. during his brief spells in the team and the former should once again profit for Flacco's inclusion.
Downs has 32 receptions this season for 351 yards, but the majority of those have come with Flacco on the field.
The 23-year-old has caught no fewer than seven passes when he and Flacco have linked up, and he should once again be very busy in Monday's contest.

---|---|---|---|
Vikings | + 5.5 - 10/11 | Over 46.5 - 10/11 | |
Colts | -5.5 - 10/11 | Under 46.5 - 10/11 |
Indianapolis Colts + 5.5 - 10/11
The Vikings have home advantage on Monday and that should count for a lot. Kevin O'Connell's team have a talented roster and they have what it takes to win, but they may struggle to cover the handicap.
Three of Minnesota's wins were by fewer than one touchdown, while all four of the Colts' defeats have come by less than six points.
With Flacco back, the Colts will be brave through the air. After all, the 39-year-old is not going to be running too much.
The Colts defence has been poor against the run, but Minnesota's threats come through the air.
Indianapolis' results prove they are a tough nut to crack, and with the Vikings losing two on the spin, the advantage play is with the visitors.
