The teams had contrasting results in Week 1, as the Chiefs beat the Baltimore Ravens 27-20 in the first game of the 2024 season, while the Bengals suffered Week 1's biggest upset when losing to the New England Patriots.
The Chiefs didn't quite find their best form in their opener, though, and almost threw it away as Ravens tight end Isaiah Likely appeared to have scored a touchdown in the final seconds but was ruled out of bounds while his team were set to try a two-point conversion for the win.
The Bengals were heavy favorites at home to the Patriots but suffered their fifth Week 1 defeat in the last six seasons in a disappointing 16-10 loss.
