The Detroit Lions have been the best team in the NFC this season and sport a record of 7-1. They face a tough task, however, in this primetime clash with the Houston Texans, who are 6-3 and look set for another play-off run this year.
The Houston Texans sit atop the NFC South and are a perfect 4-0 at home this season but they will be looking to bounce back after a disappointing 21-13 loss to the New York Jets last time out.
Jameson Williams anytime touchdown scorer - 21/10
The Detroit Lions have been incredibly effective offensively this year and rank as the top-scoring team as a result, averaging over 32 points per game.
However they face a real challenge as they take on a Houston defence that has allowed the second-fewest yards, 281, of any team in the league.
One big boost for the Detroit offence is the return of wide receiver Jameson Williams from a two-game suspension.
Still only 23 years old, the Lions wideout has bundles of potential and has started to realise it this season, registering 365 yards and three touchdowns from 16 receptions in five games.
If Detroit are not getting success with their short passing game they could choose to air it out to deep-ball threat Williams, who has made a 70-yard catch this season.
Jared Goff has been hard to beat recently, registering at least a 109 passer rating along with 13 touchdowns and one interception in the last three games.
If he chooses to go long for Williams, the chances are that he will be successful. Lions head coach Dan Campbell stated that the plan is to have the returning Williams involved as much as possible so he stands out as a solid bet to score a touchdown in the game.
C.J. Stroud over 12.5 rushing yards - 20/23
C.J. Stroud is known as one of the most dynamic young quarterbacks in the NFL and part of that reputation is his ability to extend plays with his legs.
The 23-year-old has rushed for 143 yards this season and his line of 12.5 looks a touch low.
He registered 59 yards rushing against the New York Jets last time out and may be forced into using his feet in this game by an impressive Detroit Lions defence.
The over is the pick for Stroud’s rushing line.

The Lions are 8-2 against the spread as road favourites since the start of 2021 and are worth siding with to extend that record, which is the best in the NFL.
After an impressive first season in the league, Stroud has come back down to earth a touch and he found it difficult to be effective against the New York Jets last time out.
