For the first time ever, an NFL regular season game will be held in South America, with the two teams set to play at Arena Corinthians in Sao Paulo.

Friday's encounter will be the first time in 50 years that a game will be played on a Friday night during Week 1 of the NFL season, and both teams will look to make a statement on a huge night for the sport.

Green Bay Packers Money Line - 11/10

The Green Bay Packers were one of the surprise packages in 2023, as they reached the playoffs in their first season without Aaron Rodgers.

While the future Hall of Famer suffered an Achilles injury after just four plays with the New York Jets, his replacement, Jordan Love, flourished.

Love took the Packers to the playoffs after throwing 32 touchdowns in 2023, but they were eliminated in the Divisional Round by the San Francisco 49ers, losing 24-21.

Philadelphia also reached the playoffs, but their season faded towards the business end, and they were beaten 32-9 by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Wild Card Round.

Considering the game will be played at a neutral venue, it is something of a surprise to see the Packers as the outsiders.

Packers coach Matt LaFleur is one of the best in the NFL, and with new defensive coordinator Jeff Haley in the building, they will look to record a famous win in Brazil.

A close game should be expected, but the value certainly lies with an up-and-coming team, while there are too many question marks surrounding the Eagles after their collapse in 2023.

Saquon Barkley over 63.5 rushing yards - 10/11

One of the biggest off-season deals saw Barkley leave NFC East strugglers, the New York Giants, for divisional rivals Philadelphia.

Barkley finished 2023 with 962 yards behind a poor Giants offensive line, so he should be able to return to his best in 2024 in a better team.

He averaged 70.4 rushing yards per game as a Giant last year, but the Eagles have one of the best offensive lines in the league and he looks almost certain to improve those figures.

Barkley has previously enjoyed some success against the Packers, and he should cover the 63.5 line in Brazil.

Jayden Reed over 41.5 receiving yards - 5/6

The Eagles will start three new defensive backs in Brazil, but there's some continuity for the Packers with the same set of receivers set to work with Love.

Philadelphia also have a new defensive coordinator for 2024, with Vic Fangio hoping to get an improvement out of his new team.

While in time the Eagles could indeed get better, it is a lot to ask for in week one in a foreign environment. Nick Sirianni's team struggled against slot receivers in 2023, and while he added two new cornerbacks to combat that, Reed is still expected to find some space.

Reed was lined up in the slot for the majority of last season, and he and Love formed a nice partnership during the final few weeks of the campaign.

If anyone can punish any mistakes in the new Eagles secondary, it is Reed, who should be able to keep busy with some regular touches.
