Regarded as the highlight of the sporting calendar in the United States, it does not get any bigger than the NFL Championship game.
Here’s a look at everything you need to know about the spectacle that is known as 'The Greatest Show on Turf':
The game typically lasts between three to four hours, including the analysis shows before and after the game, as well as the main event itself.
A regulation NFL game consists of four 15-minute quarters, although due to breaks in between plays and time outs, each quarter usually far exceeds 15 minutes.
After the game's first two quarters, there is also a 12-minute intermission. However, in NFL Championship games the break is longer to allow for the halftime show.
The Kansas City Chiefs produced an exhilarating second half comeback to overcome Philadelphia Eagles 38-35 in the 2023 Championship game in Arizona.
Patrick Mahomes claimed the MVP award as he helped turn the game on its head and secure the Chiefs a third world title.
The New England Patriots and the Pittsburgh Steelers are tied for the record of the most NFL Championship wins. Both franchises have been crowned world champions on six occasions in their histories.
Legendary quarterback Tom Brady is the player to have won the most world titles with seven rings in his possession.
Brady managed to bring six titles to the Patriots during his time in Boston, while he proved he could achieve the feat away from “Title Town” by guiding the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to glory in 2020.
While the exact cost of each world title ring is unknown, the NFL typically contributes between $5,000 and $7,000 per ring for up to 150 rings per team.
However, the value of the rings after they have been awarded can be much greater than this. For example, the rings of 2015 victors New England Patriots were reportedly worth $36,500 each, while owner of the New England Patriots, Robert Kraft, sold his ring for just over $1 million.

Four-time world champion winner Joe Montana was named MVP on three occasions during his career, with Eli Manning, Terry Bradshaw and Bart Starr all claiming the award twice. Brady also holds the record for the most NFL Championship touchdown passes with 21, while Montana is in second with 11.
The first ever NFL Championship was battled out between the Green Bay Packers and the Kansas City Chiefs on 15th January 1967.
With almost 62,000 in attendance at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, the Packers managed to secure a convincing 35-10 victory over the Chiefs.
Green Bay were the dominant force then and managed to also win the second world title by beating the Oakland Raiders 33-14 at the Miami Orange Bowl.
The 2015 game was the most watched NFL Championship showdown in NFL history in the US. During the Patriots’ 28-24 victory over the Seattle Seahawks, a record 114.44 million viewers tuned in to watch the action.
