Betting for Wolverhampton Wanderers' next manager has been suspended with the Premier League club on the verge of appointing Vitor Pereira as their new head coach.

Premier League strugglers Wolves were looking for a new manager following the dismissal of Gary O'Neil in the wake of a 2-1 defeat by Ipswich Town which left the Molineux club 19th in the table.
O'Neil assumed charge at Molineux in August 2023 and guided the club to a 14th-placed finish in England's top flight last term, but a slow start to this season has seen his time in charge of Wolves come to an end.
Wolves have moved swiftly in their search for O'Neil's successor and have turned to Portuguese coach Pereira, who is currently in charge of Saudi Pro League outfit Al Shabab.
bet365's Sports and Trading expert Steve Freeth said: "It’s all gone sour since the FA Cup defeat to Coventry and O’Neil had to deal with a horrid set of opening fixtures, as well as a downgraded squad compared to last season and he’s eventually paid the price for poor results."
