Ruud van Nistelrooy is the favourite to be the next manager of Leicester City following the decision to relieve Steve Cooper of his duties after 12 games in charge.
Saturday's 2-1 home defeat to a Chelsea team managed by former Leicester boss Enzo Maresca proved to be the final game of Cooper's short reign at the King Power Stadium.
Cooper took over in the summer after Maresca had guided the club back to the Premier League and he leaves with the club sitting in 16th place and just two points above the relegation zone.

bet365 Trading expert Steve Freeth said: "Graham Potter has been strongly linked with the job previously and he might feel that the time is right to get back into management, but there has been a lot of backing for Ruud van Nistelrooy who is a clear favourite for the Leicester job."
Van Nistelrooy is currently unemployed after leaving his role as interim manager of Manchester United and he has made no secret of his desire to manage in England.
Former Brighton & Hove Albion and Chelsea manager Potter, who has been out of work since leaving Stamford Bridge in April 2023, is also one of the favourites in the next Leicester City manager odds market.
David Moyes is available after leaving West Ham United at the end of last season and would provide plenty of Premier League experience in the East Midlands, while West Bromwich Albion's Carlos Corberan has also received some backing in the market.
Elsewhere, Middlesbrough boss Michael Carrick and former Coventry City manager Mark Robins are both available at double-figure prices in our next Leicester manager odds.
