We have priced up Eddie Howe's Newcastle United to lose their next three Premier League matches at 7/2.
Since beating Manchester United on December 2nd, the Magpies have been on a poor run of form which has seen them pick up just three points from a possible 15.
Newcastle have also suffered elimination from both the Champions League and the EFL Cup during December, as injuries to several key players has taken its toll.
It doesn't get any easier for Newcastle, however, with a trip to Anfield to come, followed by the visit of Manchester City to St James' Park before travelling to title challengers Aston Villa at the end of January.
The momentary respite from a tough run of Premier League fixtures is provided by the small matter of a short journey to local rivals Sunderland in the third round of the FA Cup.
bet365’s Steve Freeth said: “Eddie Howe has been rightly getting the plaudits on Tyneside since his appointment, but this is the first time he’s come under any real scrutiny and he has a number of tricky games to deal with over the next month.
“Newcastle have won one away game all season, against a poor Sheffield United side, and they face trips to fortresses Anfield and Villa Park, as well as hosting champions Manchester City at home.
“There’s also a small matter of a trip to Sunderland for a mouth-watering cup clash, having been knocked out of the League Cup by Chelsea and finishing bottom of their Champions League group.
“Howe’s normally water-tight defence has gone to pot with bad form and injuries and another crack at Champions League football next season seems far from certain right now.”
