AND THE NEW...

...WBC, WBO, IBF & Ring Magazine champion of the world, Natasha Jonas!

All three judges score the bout in her favour.

What a way to cap off the most remarkable 12 months of her fighting career.

Congratulations, 'Miss GB'!

23:07
JONAS VS DICAIRE (ROUND 10)

Both fighters absolutely covered in blood, and both fighters raise their arms aloft.

It is Joe Gallagher's woman that has prevailed though - there is no doubt about that.

We await the judges decision, but we expect a huge roar as Tasha Jonas further unifies the super-welterweight division.

23:04
JONAS VS DICAIRE (ROUND 9)

What a round - both fighters throwing everything at it - Dicaire is on her last legs, and Jonas looks strong and desperate for the KO.

She needs to be a little less erratic as she has this fight in the bag - barring any silly mistakes.

23:01
JONAS VS DICAIRE (ROUND 8)

Dicaire's face is blood-soaked as she tries to fight on with blood flowing out of both nostrils.

Jonas has landed some heavy blows in the last couple of rounds, and they are starting to have a real affect on Dicaire.

22:58
JONAS VS DICAIRE (ROUND 7)

The Jonas camp delighted with her work to the body there, as they urge her to keep working low.

She powers a strong left to the body and follows it up with a crisp right to the head, to hurt Dicaire.

She is well on top now.

22:55
JONAS VS DICAIRE (ROUND 6)

Both fighters show their toughness in what was one of the more closely contested rounds of the fight.

You'd sense that any of the close rounds will be favoured in Jonas' favour.

These two-minute rounds can be difficult to score.

22:52
JONAS VS DICAIRE (ROUND 5)

Another round to Jonas who put together a succession of jabs to trouble Dicaire.

There are levels to the fighting game and as of yet, Jonas looks a far smoother operator.

22:49
JONAS VS DICAIRE (ROUND 4)

A lovely response from Jonas as she regains control of the fight through Round 4.

Some slick combinations, pinning Dicaire back swung things well and truly back in her favour.

Dicaire is a tough cookie, but you sense that Jonas will move through the gears now.

22:46
JONAS VS DICAIRE (ROUND 3)

Dicaire's best round by far - looking a lot sharper and landing more of her shots; although not really troubling Jonas too much.

She will take heart from that though.

22:43
JONAS VS DICAIRE (ROUND 2)

Intriguing to see Jonas shape up against a fellow southpaw, but up to now, she has adjusted exceptionally well.

Another round in her favour, dipping low to manoevre space to open up that left hook, and landed a couple of telling jabs too, which rocked Dicaire.

22:40
JONAS VS DICAIRE (ROUND 1)

A superb opening round from Jonas who wastes no time in there, stinging Dicaire with two superbly timed left shots.

Plenty of output from both fighters, but all of the clean work came from the British fighter.

22:20
SMITH RETAINS HIS TITLE BY DECISION

'Thunder' gets the job done on points, with the judges scoring it 115/114, 117/112, 116/113 in his favour.

It was razor close after nine, but those last few rounds proved the difference for Smith.

The majority of fans inside the arena are pleased with that decision, but there are a scattering of Benjamin fans are voicing their displeasure.

An intriguing watch.

22:17
SMITH VS BENJAMIN (ROUND 12)

A fight for the purists which didn't ever ignite in the way we had all hoped and expected.

Interesting to see how the judges score this one after another tight round, but the overwhelming feeling ringside is that Smith has got the job done.

We go to the scorecards...

22:13
SMITH VS BENJAMIN (ROUND 11)

Some nice one-twos there from Smith as the champion reasserts himself.

He found good range throughout that round, but there is a sense of frustration within his camp, who were asking him to push the limits a tad more.

We head into the 12th and final round with everything to fight for...

View latest odds

22:09
SMITH VS BENJAMIN (ROUND 10)

Could we be heading for a draw?

A lot of these rounds have been tight, and we have the Draw priced up at 10/1!

The tenth, once more, was a tightly-contested affair.

View latest odds

22:05
SMITH VS BENJAMIN (ROUND 9)

A slicker round for Smith, without seriously troubling Benjamin.

He is accumulating the rounds but isn't dominating or having the success he may have hoped.

He stiffened his left arm well and landed a couple of right hooks to take that round.

View latest odds

22:01
SMITH VS BENJAMIN (ROUND 8)

Lots of showboating and feinting from Benjamin, but I am not too sure he is doing enough to really justify that.

Every round has been live, but still, we await this fight catching alight in the way we had all hoped.

One thing is for sure though, this is a bigger test than Dalton and his array of supporters may have been expecting.

View latest odds

21:57
SMITH VS BENJAMIN (ROUND 7)

Another round that is difficult to score - this is going to solely depend upon how each judge is viewing this.

There is a real tenacity to Benjamin's work but the sharper, crisper work, for me, is coming from Smith.

Three rounds to go, and this is close.

21:53
SMITH VS BENJAMIN (ROUND 6)

Well, we haven't quite seen the excitement we may have been expecting, but this is still hugely intriguing nonetheless.

Such high quality boxing IQ being displayed by both fighters.

It is turning into a fascinating tactical battle. Benjamin probably needs to do more - Smith's timing is beginning to come to the fore.

View latest odds

21:49
SMITH VS BENJAMIN (ROUND 5)

A better round for Smith, who uses his jab well to tee up a couple of nice combinations.

Still nothing to seriously bother his opponent, but a good round to put him back in the driving seat.

View latest odds

21:45
SMITH VS BENJAMIN (ROUND 4)

Benjamin starting to stalk Smith down, but Smith is moving well around the ring to evade his attacks.

This is pretty close so far but Smith's work has been more solid and classy, even if Benjamin is applying arguably the greater pressure.

That said, round 4 to Benjamin - for me anyway.

View latest odds

21:41
SMITH VS BENJAMIN (ROUND 3)

Another cagey round with neither fighter willing to put themselves at risk.

That will change as the fight wears on I am sure, but at the minute, it feels like a very highly-skilled game of chess.

This one is waiting to burst into life.

21:37
SMITH VS BENJAMIN (ROUND 2)

Benjamin tags Smith with a couple of straight jabs, but Smith responds with a superbly constructed combination.

Neither fighter has got fully into their groove yet, but Benjamin will be the happier of the two at this point.

21:34
SMITH VS BENJAMIN (ROUND 1)

Smith is a smooth operator and that was evident throughout the first round.

He is taking the time to suss his opponent out, but just his movement and hand-eye co-ordination is seriously impressive.

LET'S GET THE PARTY STARTED...

Smith vs Benjamin is underway!

A heroes welcome for Dalton as he strutted to the ring in a hugely confident manner.

21:25
IAN VICKERS EXPECTING LATE SMITH STOPPAGE AT 11/5

“Dalton Smith hits really hard for his weight, he has 10 KOs from 12 bouts, and I know Benjamin hasn’t been stopped as a professional, but I just think there are levels between the two.

“Dalton, for me gets this fight stopped in the second half of the fight – any time between rounds seven and 12.

“Benjamin has never shared a ring with anybody like Dalton Smith, and that will tell on Saturday night.

“For a Super-Light, he hits incredibly powerfully, and again with this one being 12 rounds, and not 10, there is more than enough time for Dalton to get him out of there in the second half of the fight.”

Back Dalton Smith ‘Rounds 7 – 12’ (Round Group Betting 4) at 11/5

CLARKE MOVES TO 4-0 WITH COMPREHENSIVE VICTORY

The judge scores the bout 60-54 in favour of Clarke, whose unbeaten record extends to four fights!

21:14
CLARKE VS SOKOLOWSKI (ROUND 6)

A developmental six rounds there for Clarke, who got just what he needed on the back of such a miss-match bout a couple of months back.

No doubt this will be a comprehensive points victory for the Englishman, who will benefit from the first six-rounder of his pro career.

There are areas that he will be keen to improve as he looks to edge himself further up the food chain over the coming months and years, but all in all, a decent night's work for Clarke.

21:10
CLARKE VS SOKOLOWSKI (ROUND 5)

Sokolowski displaying a nasty gash right underneath of his right eye - which I think came as a consequence of a clash of heads.

Clarke's round again, but he doesn't half leave himself exposed to the counter-punch.

On more than one occasion in that round Sokolowski launched a left straight back at the Team GB star's head, as soon as he thrust himself forward into an attack.

Something he definitely needs to eradicate moving forward.

21:06
CLARKE VS SOKOLOWSKI (ROUND 4)

A little smile from Clarke there as the wily old Polish fighter puts his head forward into the face of Clarke on the ropes.

This is a real learning curve for Clarke - just what he needed, and wanted, at this stage of his career.

He is well in control, showing good speed, great power and a decent enough chin too.

21:02
CLARKE VS SOKOLOWSKI (ROUND 3)

Another steady workmanlike round from Clarke, who is undoubtedly the more aggressive fighter here, with those big shots of his now starting to land.

The stoppage is still the favourite at 8/13 with a points decision in Clarke's way available at 6/5.

I sense this one going the distance!

20:58
CLARKE VS SOKOLOWSKI (ROUND 2)

Clarke looking to land that sharp, fast uppercut - working the body well and looking to tire out his more experienced opponent.

It will be interesting to see how long the Olympic Bronze medallist will be able to maintain this intensity.

Remember he has only previously undertaken just over six minutes of professional action. So he has already doubled that tonight!

View latest odds

20:54
CLARKE VS SOKOLOWSKI (ROUND 1)

A good first round for Clarke against a fighter who is clearly in a different league to any of his three previous opponents.

Clarke showed good hand speed during the opening three minutes to work the head well, but he did leave himself open to the counter on a couple of occasions which will have irked him.

Room for improvement, but a good opening round.

20:50
IT'S TIME FOR THE HEAVYWEIGHTS

This could be a pulsating 18 minutes or so...

Frazer Clarke boasts three KOs from his three professional fights to date, but this is by far his toughest test to date.

The experienced Kamil Sokolowski has shared the ring with some top level operators, and has gone the distance with a handful of them too.

If Clarke can get him out of there inside the distance, it would be a statement.

20:45
IAN VICKERS PICKS OUT 13/8 SHOT FOR THE NEXT FIGHT

“If Frazer Clarke gets rid of him, and I know he is favourite to do that at 1/2, believe me, it would be a real statement.

“If he can get rid of him conclusively then a lot of people will really stand up and start taking notice of ‘Big Fraze’, if they aren’t already.

“But the fact that this is six rounds, and Sokolowski has proven he can stick in there with accomplished and dangerous fighters for that amount of time, I’d be looking at a Frazer Clarke win on points here.

“If it was an eight-rounder or anything more, then I would really fancy him to win it by stoppage.”

Back Frazer Clarke to win ‘By Decision or Technical Decision’ at 13/8

20:33
DENNY GETS THE DECISION...

95/94 and 97/92 - both in favour of the reigning champion Tyler Denny.

Both fighters take huge applause for that - what a spectacle, and what an advert for domestic level boxing.

20:30
DENNY VS REA (ROUND 10)

Ahh, Rea just seemed to be burned out from his exploits in round 9 and was unable to replicate the cracking work he displayed a few minutes earlier.

Denny will undoubtedly feel he has done enough to get the points decision and retain his English Middleweight Championship.

What a dust-up that was!

20:26
DENNY VS REA (ROUND 9)

What a round for Rea - who absolutely pummelled Denny there.

Denny was also docked a point by the referee, but the fans are roused from what they have just seen.

Rea literally had Denny on the ropes on more than one occasion. What a last round we have in store!

20:22
DENNY VS REA (ROUND 8)

Again, good moments from Rea early doors, but he is leaving himself far too exposed, especially during the final 60 seconds or so of each round.

Denny is a long way ahead and doesn't look to be in any danger of loosening his grip on the title.

Rea will still carry hope of landing that huge blow.

20:18
DENNY VS REA (ROUND 7)

A better round for Rea, but you sense Denny took his foot off the gas a little there - conserving himself for round 8.

Rea is going to need the stoppage if he is to become English champion, with Denny far more polished with his work.

The fans in attendance are loving this one, and so are we! What a cracker!

20:13
DENNY VS REA (ROUND 6)

Another round to the reigning champion Tyler Denny, who has flown into the 1/7 favourite.

A huge market mover from his 5/2 pre-fight odds.

Denny is growing with composure and confidence here, and some slick work again pins Rea to the ropes, with the referee watching on closely. The bell just about saves Rea there.

View latest odds

20:09
DENNY VS REA (ROUND 5)

By far Denny's strongest three-minute spell there - rattling the head of Rea with far too much ease.

Rea, the pre-fight favourite, is looking tired and far too static. Denny landed a couple of huge blows in that round and is sensing blood!

My scoring sees Denny edge into a 3-2 lead.

View latest odds

20:05
DENNY VS REA (ROUND 4)

This is turning into a cracker, and again, another round that is tough to call.

There is maybe a lack of head movement from Rea, making it too easy for Denny to catch him, but the more powerful blows are undoubtedly coming from the Lancashire man.

20:01
DENNY VS REA (ROUND 3)

Denny showing real classy foot movement, dipping his shoulders left and right to facilitate enough space for himself to sting Rea's jaw early on.

But again, Rea looked the stronger, classier of the two, coming into the round after the midway point to probably edge it in his favour.

This has been a great watch so far, and Rea's odds have shortened to 4/9 from 2/7.

View latest odds

19:57
DENNY VS REA (ROUND 2)

Rea the stronger fighter throughout the round, laying heavy pressure upon Denny during the initial exchanges before a low-blow forced the referee to half his onslaught.

The many Rea fans housed behind us here at ringside were hugely enthused by what they saw during that three minutes, although Denny did catch Rea with a couple of strong left hooks through Rea's guard.

This one is really warming up - both fighters looking for that power shot, and I'd be stunned to see this one go the full 10 rounds.

19:53
DENNY VS REA (ROUND 1)

A relatively tentative start from both fighters, who looked to have taken the round to size each other up.

Rea was the busier of the two, and enjoyed some success late on in the round, but there were a couple of moments for Denny too, who momentarily pinned the Lancashire favourite on to the ropes.

Still, for me, I'd edge the first round in Rea's favour.

RILEY GETS THE JOB DONE IN THE THIRD!

What a shot from Riley to finish McGuigan with a devastating right hook, leaving the referee with no option than to wave the fight off.

That was a cracker of a punch midway through the round having already rocked McGuigan during the initial exchanges.

Riley has plenty of admirers in the fighting game, and his stock will have undoubtedly risen further on the back of that impressive performance.

For those of you who backed our BOOSTED Riley stoppage in rounds 1 - 3 - a huge well done!

19:25
RILEY VS MCGUIGAN (ROUND 2)

Not quite as much success for Viddal in round 2, but still, he was without the doubt the aggressor.

McGuigan has taken a fair few shots early doors but looks a little more comfortable in there now after weathering that storm during the first three minutes.

He has looked to land a couple of counters, but none have really caused too many issues.

A tighter round, but the positive work still came from Viddal.

Bet on the fight

19:22
RILEY VS MCGUIGAN (ROUND 1)

A couple of thumping early shots fired from Viddal to really liven up the crowd, followed by a stunning double left hook to the body.

McGuigan has taken a beating in the first three minutes, and was more interesting in trying to clinch hold of Viddal rather than firing too many warning shots of his own.

A really impressive opening round from the favourite, who has worked the head and body to superb effect.

19:12
BIG MO WITH THE INTRODUCTIONS...

Ross Mcguigan is the first to make his ring-walk and looks calm, assured and confident as he prepares for a huge challenge against the superb Riley.

McGuigan can be backed at 11/1 to prevail victorious and inflict a first professional defeat upon his opponent.

Riley's ring-walk carries a bit more pazzaz, with grime artist JME leading his friend down to the ring, whilst rapping.

Pretty impressive stuff, even for those who aren't too familiar with this specific genre of music.

19:00
THE PAST, THE PRESENT & THE FUTURE

The first fight on the TV card sees the highly regarded cruiserweight Viddal Riley taking on the unbeaten Ross McGuigan.

We've also got Frazer Clarke and Dalton Smith to come soon, whilst Natasha Jonas will hope to add a third world title to her armoury.

As well as that we also have Ricky Hatton's hometown farewell to come; an exhibition bout with Marco Antonio Barrera.

But first, it's all about 25-year-old Viddal Riley.

The hard-hitting cruiserweight is 1/33 favourite to notch up another victory, but if you are after some value then we've boosted a couple of markets which may well appeal.
