Arsenal defender Myles Lewis-Skelly has hailed Mikel Arteta as a 'genius' ahead of the Gunners' UEFA Champions League semi-final first-leg against Paris Saint-Germain.
His attention to detail is incredible.
2009 was the last time Arsenal played in a UEFA Champions League semi-final but defender Myles Lewis-Skelly believes that his side are as ready as they ever will be.
In an interview with Sky Sports the 18-year-old has insisted that there will be 'no excuses' for their match against Paris Saint-Germain.
Lewis-Skelly puts a lot of this down to Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta, saying:
"His attention to detail is incredible. I love to learn, so learning from him and the way he handles and approaches the games, it's fascinating.
"There's so much I can take from him. He's a genius really."
Arteta took over as Arsenal boss in 2019 and has led the club to FA Cup victory and a second place finish in the Premier League.
But this is his biggest test yet in the Emirates dugout.
Paris Saint-Germain have defeated both Aston Villa and newly-crowned Premier League champions Liverpool en route to the semi-finals.
They have already tasted defeat at the hands of the Gunners, however.
Kai Havertz and Bukayo Saka handed Arsenal a 2-0 win in the league phase back in October.
