Aragon delivered another dramatic twist in a fascinating title battle and now all eyes turn to San Marino for the 13th round of the 2024 MotoGP season.
It's the first of two consecutive visits to Misano and Marc Marquez arrives at the coastal circuit off the back of his first Grand Prix victory in 1,043 days.
There is a new championship leader in Jorge Martin after the Spaniard capitalised on Francesco Bagnaia's incident with Alex Marquez to open up a gap of 23 points at the top of the standings and he will be desperate to deepen the Italian's wounds by snatching victory on his rivals turf.
However, Bagnaia's resilience has been one of the many vital factors in his previous championship successes and the defending champion will be eager to bounce back before an adoring home crowd.
