MotoGP German Grand Prix: Start time, weekend schedule, how to watch & TV channel

The Sachsenring in Germany hosts the eleventh round of the MotoGP season this weekend.

Ai Ogura won last time out in the Netherlands to leapfrog Marc Marquez into fourth in the season standings, just 25 points from leader Jorge Martin.

Martin managed a podium in the same race to ensure that he didn't lose too much ground, while rival Marco Bezzecchi had another nightmare race by failing to finish for the third time in a row.

Fabio di Giannantonio came home fourth to keep the pressure on those above him and Marc Marquez could only manage a seventh placed finish, though he is only 40 points from the leader of the MotoGP World Championship in what is setting up to be a thrilling title race.

There is plenty to play for in Saxony, as three of the top five chase a second victory of the season.
