MotoGP legend Marc Marquez has fond memories of MotorLand Aragon, the host circuit of this weekend's Aragon motorcycle Grand Prix.
The Spaniard has won at the circuit six times in MotoGP and his victory there last year ended a 1,043-day drought that saw him beset by injuries and had many wondering whether he would ever be the force of old again.
It is too early to say Marquez is back at the peak of his powers, but he arrives in Aragon this year with a 24-point lead in the championship and he is a red-hot favourite to claim his fourth victory of the season.

Best Bet: Fabio Quartararo @ 11/1
Marquez dominated the early rounds of the championship, but the season has become rather more unpredictable of late, with five different riders winning the last five races.
The title-race leader is a short-priced favourite for good reason, but value seekers could be rewarded again, and Frenchman Fabio Quartararo is the most eyecatching of those at bigger prices.
The Yamaha rider has been on pole position for the last three races and has been a bit unlucky not to score his first win since 2022.
He finished a couple of seconds behind winner Alex Marquez at Jerez and slid off the track as it started raining in France. Quartararo looked set to end his wait for a win as he dominated at Silverstone last time, only to suffer a rare mechanical failure on his Yamaha.
The Frenchman broke down in tears of frustration in Northamptonshire, but he may earn quick compensation and looks worth backing each-way at least.
Adam Scriven explains:
Fabio Quartararo has set the pace in qualifying at the last three events, while his race pace has been none too shabby either. He has been an unlucky retiree at the last two races but should be back on the podium at least this weekend.
Alternative Bet: Francesco Bagnaia @ 8/1
Like Quartararo, 2023 world champion Francisco Bagnaia has also failed to score a point in the last two races but shouldn't be discounted.
Marquez's Ducati team-mate has fallen 72 points off the championship lead, but he is capable of mixing it with the Spaniard on track.
Bagnaia won in Texas after Marquez had crashed out on the opening lap, finished second to his team-mate next time out in Qatar and was always just slightly lacking the pace to challenge for victory at Jerez.
He has a decent record at Aragon, scoring his first ever MotoGP victory there in 2021, when he held off a hard-charging Marquez, while he was just outdone in a photo-finish with Enea Bastianini after starting from pole position the following year.
Adam Scriven adds:
Pecco Bagnaia needs a solid result after crashing out at Le Mans and Silverstone, but he has shown he can match his Ducati team-mate Marquez at the Aragon circuit and is a decent price to bounce back this weekend.
