West Ham have confirmed the appointment of former player Scott Parker on a two-and-a-half year contract following the sacking of Nuno Espirito Santo.
The Portuguese manager was in charge for 53 games at the London Stadium and surprisingly stayed with the club following their relegation to the Championship.
Their stuttering start to the campaign meant that the Irons' board eventually felt they had to pull the trigger following a run of two defeats and a draw in their last three.
It won't have been a decision taken lightly though, as West Ham are not particularly a club known for sacking their managers quickly.
The below list of their last ten different managers to be in charge for 100 days or more dates back to 2006.
The list goes as far back as back as Alan Curbishley's two year stint between 2006 and 2008, who was succeeded by the West Ham's first ever non-British manager in Gianfranco Zola.
David Moyes was in charge for the most games across his two spells, by some distance. The Scotsman had the highest win percentage of all of the Irons' permanent managers and famously led them to a Conference League triumph.
They have suffered since his departure though, with ill-fated spells under Julen Lopetegui, Graham Potter and Nuno seeing them fall into England's second tier for the first time since they were promoted to the Premier League under Sam Allardyce in 2012.
New man Scott Parker will be tasked with restoring them to the top flight, and he has a good record having taken Fulham, Bournemouth and Burnley up before.
