Hitting a maximum score off three darts is a talent in itself, let alone hitting nine perfect darts on the biggest stage.
We take a look at the players that have recorded the most televised nine-dart legs in history.
Player | Nine-darters |
Phil Taylor | 11 |
Michael van Gerwen | 10 |
Gerwyn Price | 7 |
Raymond van Barneveld | 5 |
Adrian Lewis | 5 |
James Wade | 4 |
Luke Littler | 4 |
Gary Anderson | 3 |
Michael Smith | 3 |
Conor Heneghan | 3 |
Dimitri Van den Bergh | 3 |
Phil Taylor leads the way for the most televised nine-dart finishes in history with 11, closely followed by Michael van Gerwen with 10.
But with 'Mighty Mike' still in his pomp and 'The Power' now switched off, there's every chance the Dutchman elevates himself above his former darting foe in the not too distant future.
Gerwyn Price sits third on the list, with his two perfect legs earlier this year elevating him above Raymond van Barneveld and Adrian Lewis on the list.
James Wade is one of two players to have landed four nine-darters in televised events, along with world number one Luke Littler, who, like Price, has achieved two of those four in 2025.
Gary Anderson, Michael Smith, Conor Heneghan and most recently Dimitri Van den Bergh have all recorded three televised nine-darters, a tally which doesn't quite summarise the greatness of the 'Flying Scotsman' in particular.
